reconnecting indigenous women to the land

Myia Antone is from Squamish Nation. She loves being out on the land and being surrounded by relatives in the animal and plant worlds, her ancestors and good-hearted people. As she learns Sḵwx̱wú7mesh sníchim, she feels closer to her community and her family.

Indigenous women outdoors, is a community of Indigenous women that is for and believes in Indigenous women. They help Indigenous women living on unceded Coast Salish territory connect with the land and each other by creating more opportunities that eliminate any barriers to getting into nature.
